Meet the Primo Passi: The Wearable Pump With a Remote (Yes, Really!)

Hey friends, Jessica here! You know I live surrounded by breast pumps (seriously… 40+ wearables in my office right now 🙃). When a new pump lands on my desk, my first question is always:

👉 Does this solve a problem my clients have been begging companies to fix?

If the answer is yes, that’s when my ears perk up.

So when Primo Passi sent me their double wearable, a lactation massager, and nipple pads, I wasn’t expecting anything groundbreaking. But you know what? One small feature on this pump completely surprised me — and it’s something I didn’t even know I needed.

A Remote… in 2025?

I’ll admit it. When I first saw the remote, I rolled my eyes. In the age of apps, who’s asking for a remote? Turns out… me. And maybe you too.

Here’s why: it actually keeps the motors in sync.

Most wearables run as two separate motors. Even the “sync” options on smart apps don’t fully line them up. They get close, then drift apart. For some people, that mismatch is just annoying. For others, it’s a true sensory deal-breaker that keeps them from using wearables at all.

The Primo Passi remote fixed it. Both sides pulled together, just like a traditional pump. One of my testers who swore she’d never like a wearable actually changed her mind after trying it. That’s huge.

Affordable Price, Luxury Feel

At $149 for a single and $189 for a double, the Primo Passi its in the “affordable wearable” under $200 club. It’s compact, relatively low-profile, and simple to use.

  • Four modes to toggle with the remote

  • Wide suction range that worked for my testers

  • Easy-to-read controls (no guessing what level you’re on!)

  • Duckbill system that’s leak-resistant and easy to clean

Honestly? For this price point, the build feels solid.

Inserts & Flanges: Where It Gets Messy

Like many wearables, the Primo Passi has a 28 mm hard plastic flange with 24 mm and 21 mm inserts. That’s it. Which means most of us end up stacking inserts (ugh).

The good news? LV inserts (15, 17, 19 mm) popped in beautifully and gave the best comfort/output combo of all the options. The bad news? Limited size ranges mean not everyone can get the perfect fit.

📌 Note to Primo Passi: please expand your insert line. The market is begging for it.

Bonus: The Lactation Massager

They also sent me a warming lactation massager:

  • Gentle heat (won’t fry your ducts or drive inflammation)

  • Steady or intermittent vibration

  • Silicone grips for easy use

Nothing revolutionary here, but it’s a solid, comfortable tool — especially if you slide it into your bra alongside a wearable.

Final Thoughts

I’m honestly impressed. The Primo Passi solved a problem nobody else had cracked yet: true sync for wearable pumping.

  • ✅ Affordable price

  • ✅ Comfortable with the right inserts

  • ✅ Leak-resistant parts

  • ✅ Game-changing synced suction

⚠️ My only caution: replacement parts were tricky to track down. The company told me they’re available, so hopefully they become easier to find soon.

Will it make my Top 10 Affordable Wearables of 2026 list? It’s looking very likely. Subscribe to my YouTube channel today to see these videos now!

Until then… happy pumping! 💗
