đŸ„Š Willow Go vs. Eufy S1 Pro: Is Willow About to Lose Her Crown?

The Eufy S1 Pro just crashed the luxury pump party—and she’s not here to play.

Hey friends! Jessica here—IBCLC, owner of Genuine Lactation, and your friendly neighborhood pump tester with too many wearables and not enough outlets.

You may know me from the Facebook group Wearable Pump Paperwork Prevention, where we help pumping parents cut through the chaos and pick the right pump for their body (and sanity). Lately, one question keeps popping up:

“Should I get the Willow Go
 or this new Eufy thing?”

So let’s talk about it. Because Eufy just launched the S1 Pro, and it’s genuinely giving Willow Go a run for its money. Like, BeyoncĂ©-showing-up-to-your-birthday-party levels of unexpected competition.

Let’s break it down.

🧠 Smart Pumps
 But Who’s Smarter?

Both the Willow Go and Eufy S1 Pro are what we call “smart wearables.” You can control them via an app, program your settings, and feel like you're living in the future while expressing milk in your car.

BUT. One of them is a little more "clippy glitchy 2012 website” and the other is “smooth, works like it should, and remembers your settings.”

  • Willow Go: Has an app. Sometimes. Kind of. It tries, bless its heart. If you’re lucky, it’ll remember your suction levels. If not, it might throw a tantrum and refuse to connect.

  • Eufy S1 Pro: Actually smart. The app is slick, remembers your preferences, connects quickly, and even handles multiple Eufy pumps with zero drama. Your techy toddler could probably run it. (Please don’t let them.)

🔁 Modes & Rhythms: One’s a Dinosaur, One’s a DJ

  • Willow Go: Stuck in the two-mode past. It starts in stimulation, then flips to expression after two minutes, and
that’s it. Unless you tap it like you're waking up an old VCR.

  • Eufy S1 Pro: Multiple rhythms! Fancy names! There’s even a Natural Mode that automatically cycles 5 minutes of stimulation and 5 of expression, which has been a total win for a ton of my clients.

Bonus: You can tweak cycle speeds (fast, medium, slow), which gives you more control than Willow has offered
 ever.

đŸ”„ Vibes, Heat & Bra Drama

Let’s talk about the spicy extras:

  • Vibration: Willow Go gives you mechanical vibration whether you want it or not. It’s not subtle. It’s
 there.

    • Eufy S1 Pro? Gentle and refined. Like a background dancer—not the star of the show.

  • Heat: Eufy S1 Pro has intentional heat. Like, real warming magic. Willow Go? Only warms up if it’s mad at your charging cord- heat isn’t a feature here it’s a concern!

  • Bra Fit: Willow Go is the size and shape of a grapefruit glued to a hockey puck. It’s bottom-heavy and doesn’t play nicely with most bras because of the support required.

    • Eufy? Round, smooth, surprisingly cooperative. One of the easiest large wearables to fit, hands down (or
 shirts down?).

🔌 Charging Wars

  • Willow Go: You’ll want the right cord, the right battery bank, and probably a little prayer. The pump is notorious for dying if you use off-brand chargers.

  • Eufy S1 Pro: Comes with an optional charging case that clicks into place and charges like a dream. No fiddling, no stress, just boop and done.

Both pumps get about 60–90 minutes of use, but Eufy handles its battery life more gracefully—especially with the heating feature on.

đŸŒ Milk Transfer & “Oops” Protection

Both pumps pour out easily—but Willow Go has a design quirk: if you set it down before pouring, it might pop open and leak your milk (and maybe fry the motor). Eufy feels sturdier and even offers little cap accessories for added protection.

We love options that don’t risk your precious milk puddling on the counter like a dairy tragedy.

⚖ Verdict Time: Which Pump Wins?

Let’s be real—Willow Go still works, and lots of parents love it. But it’s starting to feel
a little tired. The app is buggy, the vibration is extra, and the features haven’t evolved in years.

Meanwhile, Eufy S1 Pro came in like the cool cousin who brought snacks and Wi-Fi to the family reunion. It’s smart, customizable, well-priced (around $350 and frequently on sale), and it actually seems like the company listens to user feedback. Imagine that.

💬 Final Thoughts

If you’re deciding between these two and want a pump that actually feels like a modern device, go with the Eufy S1 Pro. Unless you’re super attached to vibration, or you’ve already cracked the Willow Go bra-fitting puzzle, there’s just more to love about Eufy right now.

And hey—if this feels overwhelming, we’ve got your back. Our Choosing a Pump workshop is happening at the end of April. It’s like Pump Matchmaking 101, so you can pick the right pump the first time—whether you’re buying today or five years from now.

Until then, happy pumping—and may your milk stay off the kitchen counter 💩đŸ’Ș
