Eufy Pump Hacks: Two Alternate Parts That Pass the Test

Hey friends, Jessica here from Genuine Lactation — your friendly neighborhood pump nerd.

You know how I always say, “Just because it fits doesn’t mean it works”? Well, that applies to your pump parts, too. A few months ago, I shared my deep dive into whether you could use generic parts with the Eufy pump. The short version back then was: please don’t — unless you enjoy suction loss, mystery performance issues, and the general vibe of “Why isn’t this working?”

Fast forward to now, and after a whole lot of testing (and more than a few coffee-fueled rants), I finally have good news. We’ve found two alternate diaphragms that actually work across all Eufy models — E10, E20, S1, and S1 Pro.

And here’s the important part:
These are not what I’d call “generic” parts. They are name-brand parts from other wearable pumps with a similar body style, which means we can verify their performance through actual testing. This is not the Wild West of generic Amazon listings, where every product photo looks the same, quality is anyone’s guess, and half the time you end up with something that tanks your suction before your first letdown.

Why Generic Parts and Eufy Pumps Have Never Been BFFs

Let’s talk diaphragms for a second. This little part is the heart of your pump’s suction — and when it’s bad, it’s really bad. In testing generic Amazon versions, we saw:

  • Some that killed suction completely straight out of the box.

  • Others that worked for a couple of weeks, then just gave up on life.

  • Inconsistent materials and quality that made results totally unpredictable.

Duckbills, on the other hand, have been less dramatic. If they fit properly (with that little lip for a tight seal), most do fine. But diaphragms? That’s where the magic happens — and where poor quality can ruin your pumping session.

Why I Went on the Alternate Parts Hunt

Eufy parts are great… until there’s a supply shortage. And yes, like every pump brand, they’ve had them. Parents shouldn’t be left hanging because a manufacturer is out of stock. So, I went digging for verified, brand-name parts from other wearables that would fit, function, and not wreck your pump’s performance.

And finally — victory. Two alternate diaphragms passed the Genuine Lactation stress test.

Option 1: Ameda Glow Wearable Diaphragm

  • Fits: All Eufy models (E10, E20, S1, S1 Pro).

  • Performance: Almost identical to the Eufy diaphragm, but suction is about 5–10% lower.

  • The Fix: Just bump your suction up one level and you’re back in business.

  • Great For:

    • Parents with sensitive nipples who want a gentler pull.

    • Those who’d like to tame the lower levels just a bit.

    • Possibly more comfortable for elastic nipples.

You could also swap in the Ameda Glow Wearable duckbill, but you don’t have to — unless you like matching sets.

Option 2: Motif Aura Glow Diaphragm

  • Fits: All Eufy models.

  • Performance:

    • Increases suction by 10–15%.

    • Adds a more sustained pull — making your Eufy feel like it’s been hanging out with a BabyBuddha.

  • Great For:

    • Higher-level suction users.

    • BabyBuddha fans who want a wearable pump with a similar feel.

Caution: If you’re on level 1–2 and sensitive to suction changes, this might feel like a bit much. And because it’s working harder (holding that pull longer), plan to swap this diaphragm every 3–4 weeks to keep it performing at its best.

Why “Feel” Matters in Pump Performance

If you’ve never thought about how long your pump holds suction before releasing, you’re missing a big part of the comfort and efficiency puzzle. Sustained suction — like the BabyBuddha’s signature pull — can make a huge difference for some users.

With the Motif Aura Glow diaphragm, you can give your Eufy a similar profile. For some parents, that’s a huge upgrade.

One Last Note on Looks

The Ameda Glow Wearable and Motif Aura Glow diaphragms? They look almost identical. So do a lot of generics. That’s why it’s so risky to play the “generic roulette” on Amazon — you can’t always tell which factory made them, what materials they used, or if they’re even remotely up to standard. The beauty of these alternate parts is that they come from reputable brands, with consistent manufacturing, and have been actually tested in the Eufy.

Final Pump Hack Verdict

If you’re looking for safe, reliable alternate parts:

  • Gentler suction: Go with the Ameda Glow Wearable diaphragm.

  • Stronger suction + sustained pull: Try the Motif Aura Glow diaphragm.

Both are affordable, easy to get from their official websites, and — most importantly — they pass the Genuine Lactation performance test.

Happy pumping,
